Glass Light Hotel & Gallery, Downtown Norfolk’s newest boutique hotel, opened in December of 2019. As their public relations agency of record, we have been planning and strategizing public relations efforts while aligning their social media messaging and aesthetic.
Prior to the grand opening, we created a social media roadmap to serve as the foundation for content strategy and creation, engagement, execution and reporting.
The next crucial component to prepare their Instagram and Facebook channels for the hotel’s grand opening was to capture brand photography. We conducted a one-hour photoshoot, led by the content strategy and pillars in the social media roadmap, to capture experiential lifestyle photography showcasing the hotel’s world-renowned art, French-inspired cuisine and sophisticated guest rooms, designed to exude the feeling of staying in an artists’ studio.
We launched the Instagram and Facebook channels prior to the opening and have garnered nearly 1,000 followers combined in less than a month.
