NORFOLK, Va. — Reed & Associates Marketing (R&A) is proud to announce the recent promotion of Adam Pitzen. In his new role, Pitzen will lead client services and new business development providing high-level tactics for the agency and its clients. Additionally, he will be spearheading the development of new products and services, pursuing new business and managing the client services team to drive tangible results.
As the Norfolk-based marketing, advertising and public relations agency continues to evolve, owner and president, Ashley Knepper wanted to create a role that would help support the progression. “As R&A diversifies its services and clientele, putting long-standing and knowledgeable team members in place to assist me with overall strategies is paramount,” said Knepper. “I am happy to promote Adam to help aid us in this new direction, as it is well-deserved.”
Pitzen joined R&A in 2012 as a media buyer and has managed over $20 million in advertising budgets for local and national companies. He was responsible for developing and managing a diverse media mix that achieved clients’ marketing objectives. Before R&A, he served as an advertising manager for the Virginia Arts Festival for seven years.
Utilizing his recent M.B.A from the College of William & Mary, Pitzen has already brought his business acumen to the new position. Believing that consumer insights, market research, audience segmentation and analytics are crucial for client success, Pitzen is excited about the future growth of the company.
