As we highlighted in November, the R&A team was named a CORPORATE Volunteer Excellence Award Honoree for our contributions to philanthropic endeavors in the Hampton Roads community. At the awards banquet, we had the distinct pleasure of meeting LaSalle Blanks from Channel 13 News Now on WVEC. In his engaging and inspirational speech, Blanks encouraged local businesses to reach out to him for possible partnership opportunities. Enter: The R&A public relations team!
After sharing our story with Blanks, we were selected to be a featured segment on WVEC’s Making Your Mark. Earlier this week, he visited our Norfolk office to interview team members on the group dynamics, our philanthropic efforts and, of course, our leader, Ashley Knepper.
