R&A Grows with A New Client and Team Members

NORFOLK, Va. — Reed & Associates Marketing (R&A), a national marketing agency located in Downtown Norfolk, is celebrating the expansion of their client and team rosters.

R&A’s newest client is Downtown Norfolk’s Glass Light Hotel & Gallery, slated to open later this year. The R&A team is handling the hotel property’s local and national public relations efforts. Serving as an extension of the Glass Light team, R&A’s primary goal is to bring the property’s architectural connection and untraditional hotel experience to the hands of locals and travelers alike.

Co-owner and President of R&A, Ashley Knepper says, “As a member of the Norfolk community, we are invested in the city’s growth and energized by the opportunity to work on behalf of newcomers like Glass Light Hotel & Gallery. A member of the Autograph Collection, Glass Light Hotel & Gallery will bring a sophisticated boutique-style hotel experience accompanied by a world-renowned glass art collection and locally crafted restaurant and bar.

Mackenzie Wells, Content | Brand Manager, leads the content and brand development needs of all clients and the R&A brand. She is PRSA certified and has over five years of agency and industry experience. As a content strategist and copywriter, she is proficient in content strategy and development, social media management, editorial writing and ad copywriting for digital campaigns. She graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing.

“Mackenzie’s expertise in the brand and content space is highlighted through her ability to create distinct and compelling stories for our clients. Her energy is a bright addition to the R&A team,” says Alison Johnson, Director of Operations.

Jessie Cox, Graphic Designer | Content Creator, creates and cultivates the copy and designs for our clients’ social media channels. In this multifaceted role, you will find Jessie researching, inventing and making content that cuts through the clutter and captures the attention of our clients’ target audiences. She has a background in hybrid design from the Modern College of Design and five years of graphic design experience.
